Welcome to Trinity Lutheran School.
Founded in 1959, Trinity is one of Central Oregon’s oldest and most established private schools.
Trinity’s decades of success is attributed to the belief that students deserve a quality education within a Christian framework that supports the whole student.
Experienced, creative, dedicated educators teach strong core classes, offering students opportunities to strive beyond mediocrity often found in education today. Well-chosen electives give students an edge when pursuing a career or higher education. Trinity’s athletic program is well-recognized; Grades 5 – 8 compete each February at the Lutheran Elementary Schools Tournament at Concordia University in Portland.
High school students wanting to continue their athletic interest on the large, public school teams are allowed — and encouraged — to do so. Trinity is registered with the OSAA, and this year competed in OSAA Volleyball. It is absolutely possible for a student to study at Trinity and still participate on a high school football, basketball, track or cross country team.
Community Service is embraced. Children do well, by doing good.
Today's students face a world that is uncertain and often compromising, but here, students don't just survive, they thrive. TLS students are able to thrive in an environment that allows them to see Jesus at work in their lives daily, through thought, word and deed. Trinity Lutheran School welcomes children and families from all Christian backgrounds knowing that integrating faith in the learning process creates the leaders and strong citizens of tomorrow. At Trinity, children are encouraged to express their faith, and encouraged to "walk the walk" of living their lives as Jesus did, with respect, love, hope and optimism.
