5th and 6th Grades are a time to build a strong academic foundation, before entering Junior High.

Students learn at an accelerated pace, are placed in math ability groups so all levels are challenged, and students choose electives that interest them: art, music, band, and mass communications are offered.

Writing skills are honed, and discussion elements are taught. Science projects become more complex, and math is taught interactively. By the time our students enter Junior High, they have embraced the joy of learning.
