November Chapel Offering Project

Help us fill the Thanksgiving table of a family in need.

Classroom Contribution List

In response to God’s abundant blessings to us here at Trinity, the staff is asking for your help in making this Thanksgiving special to families and individuals who may be in need of an extra measure of God’s love this holiday season.

Each classroom will be donating a specific item, or items, to help fill Thanksgiving dinner baskets for approximately 20 individuals and families in the Bend area. We are asking for your family to donate the designated items for your child’s classroom. The monetary chapel offerings we collect in November will be used to purchase perishable items, such as milk, butter, turkeys, etc. We are trying to provide an entire Thanksgiving dinner to approximately one dozen families, and a gift certificate and “pantry fill-up” to another 10 individuals. We need all of the items to be delivered to school by noon on Friday, Nov. 17th.

If you know of a family that would benefit from receiving a basket, please stop by the office or contact Wendy FitzHenry ( by Wednesday, Nov. 8th. The family can be someone you know from your neighborhood, church, or work. We will also need help assembling baskets after school on November 17th, and possibly delivering baskets the week of Thanksgiving. If you would be interested in helping in that manner, please contact Wendy at the email above.

We are very excited about this school servant event! What a great way to thank God for all the blessings He’s given us here at Trinity. Attached to this letter is an envelope for donations to help fill the baskets with perishable items. There are around 300 students in our school. If each child brings in just $2.00, we should have all of the perishable items covered. Give more than that, and we can provide more.

We thank you in advance for your generosity and willingness to serve. You each are a blessing,

In His Service,

Trinity Lutheran Sta
