Elementary (K – 5th Grade)

Our elementary school program seeks to inspire a life-long love of learning
for our Kindergarten – 5th grade students that will support them into their middle and high school years.

Through academically excellent curriculum and experienced elementary teachers, students develop a love of learning in a Christ-filled environment they can thrive in.

Whole Child Learning at All Grade Levels

Trinity provides activities and experiences that introduce our students to a
well-rounded academic development, while also engaging individual learning styles.

Music

Music is an exciting and essential part of your child’s education. The Elementary music curriculum is designed to coordinate with the nine standards set by the National Association of Music Educators as well as the Lutheran Addendum to the National Standards for Arts Education.

Theater Arts

At Trinity we believe that the arts play an important role student’s lives. Trinity has become known in the community for their musical theater program, which begins in Kindergarten.  All Kindergarten-4th grade students participate in a spring musical, rehearing during their normal music class time, and incorporating many aspects of the performing arts (music, choreography, acting).  During “show week” we add in costumes and microphones, as well as a set and stage lighting, designed and built by our Highschool students. What results is an amazing production that our elementary students remember for a long time.

It is our daily prayer that every student and their family experience the love of Christ through our community. As part of this goal, faith development and Christian studies is part of our daily curriculum.

Along with our classroom religion education, students participate in a weekly worship experience through our school chapels, led by our Highschool worship band. Chapels are always open to any parents and close family who wish to join us. We also live-stream our chapels on our Facebook page if you can’t be there in person.

All Elementary students have developmentally appropriate classes in physical education at least twice a week in our gymnasium or, if weather permits, outside on our sports field.

Here at Trinity we believe that staying physically active is not only beneficial for the body but also for the mind. Physical activity helps develop motor skills, builds confidence, and helps with mental focus throughout the day.

The benefit of early language learning on overall student development has been well documented. Here at Trinity, all of our Preschool through Highschool students take classes in Spanish twice a week from our dedicated Spanish teacher.

Each class has a variety of unique experiential activities and field trips throughout the year.
