Coronavirus Update

All On-Campus Activities are Canceled Until Further Notice.

In support of current government measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our community, Trinity will be closing our campus and maintaining limited operations until further notice. This includes on-campus learning and all extracurricular activities.

Update: Response to Governor Brown’s extension of school closings through April 28

Dear Trinity Family,

Our teaching staff has been blessed by the energy you and your children are bringing to the learning environment, as we constantly adapt to deliver innovative learning opportunities in a virtual classroom.

We shared with you last Friday that we would pass along updates as they become available.  A short time ago, Governor Brown ordered that all Oregon K-12 schools continue to be closed through April 28, 2020.  You can read her proclamation here:
Oregon schools remain closed through April 28

We can still report that while we have no known cases of the virus in our Trinity community, we will support these ongoing measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We closed Trinity’s campus to help reduce the odds of not overwhelming a medical system that is hard-pressed to keep up with regular illnesses and protect the most vulnerable in our community.

What Does This Mean for Our Students

  • Our teachers will continue to provide a quality learning experience for all of our students in PS to grade 12 remotely.
  • Communication, including school work for these off-campus school days, will be by email with all parents and with students grades 6th – 12th to keep the learning process moving forward.

We are reminded at times like this that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.  Thank you for partnering with us during this unexpected adventure.

Things are changing daily, but we have a God who does not change, as Hebrews 13:8 reminds us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”  He is leading our daily meetings, and we are seeking His guidance and direction to navigate these times in a way that honors Him and serves all of you.

Keep trusting in Him, the Prince of Peace.
