Lutherans have a rich heritage which focuses on the arts. The music program at Trinity provides a safe, nurturing environment for young, Christian artists to develop their skills and enhance their love of the performing, visual, and digital arts. Trinity has a team of teachers, experienced in the classroom and in the field of their profession, who are committed to excellence.

Beginning with our youngest students in preschool, students have an opportunity to develop a love of music and the arts. Whether they want to learn a new instrument, sing in one of the vocal ensembles, or produce something in our digital media lab, there is something for every student who walks through Trinity’s doors.

Choral Music

The Choral Music program of Trinity Lutheran seeks to give high quality performances of a variety of repertoire from various stylistic periods and cultures around the world. Students have the opportunity to sing in one of the choral ensembles or lead worship in chapel. With near 40% of the student population involved in one of the choirs or worship bands, the program strives to be pleasing to God and share the gifts He has given, to the school, church, and to the community of Bend.

Instrumental Music

Trinity’s instrumental program consists of hand bells, a wind ensemble, a string ensemble, and worship bands. Taking beginning and advanced students, these groups perform at many events throughout the year, striving for high quality performances that are glorifying to God.

Music Theatre & Drama

The Theatre program has many opportunities to get involved onstage and behind the scenes. Acting and Stagecraft are offered throughout the year, with everyone working together on a big musical in the spring. All students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in some aspect of theatre production.

Digital Media

Digital technology is a tool for artistic expression and visual creativity. Trinity emphasizes the teamwork and creativity needed to be successful in digital media. With a state of the art media lab, as well as a multi‐track studio, Trinity has the ability to give students access to some of the most current technology out there.
